The problem

Naming a project is hard. Finding a name that is also an available domain is brutal. The usual routine looks like this: brainstorm a name you love, type it into a registrar, watch it come back taken, tweak a letter, try again, give up on .com, settle for something worse. Repeat for an hour. Most of the good single-word domains were registered years ago, so you spend more time checking availability than actually thinking about the name.

Why we built domhaul

We kept hitting this wall on our own projects. We wanted one place where you describe what you are building in plain English, and get back a batch of brandable names that are actually available to register right now — not a list you then have to check one by one somewhere else.

So domhaul pairs an AI name generator with a live availability check. You give it an idea; it generates candidate names, checks them across .com, .io, .app and more, and shows you only what you can grab. You can also paste a domain you already have in mind to check it directly.
