domhaul MCP Server
Check domain availability and prices from any AI assistant.
What it does
The domhaul MCP (Model Context Protocol) server lets AI assistants check whether domain names are actually available to register — using live registry (RDAP) data, not guesses — along with a brandability score, an estimated resale value, and real registration prices. Available domains include a link to domhaul's own checkout, where you can buy the domain and have it delivered to your own registrar account. No account or API key is required to use the tools.
Server URL: https://www.domhaul.com/api/mcp/mcp
Tools
- Check Domain Availability (
check_domains) — checks up to 50 domains against live registry data. Returns availability, the current registrar for taken domains, a 0–100 brandability score, an estimated resale value, and for available domains the registration price and a link to buy. In assistants that support interactive MCP Apps (Claude, ChatGPT), results render as a card with Register buttons. - Get TLD Registration Prices (
get_tld_prices) — registrar retail price estimates for up to 20 TLDs (.com, .io, .app, .ai, …), useful for comparing TLD options.
Buying a domain
The MCP server itself never handles payment. When you choose to buy, the assistant gives you a link to domhaul's checkout page on this site. There you see the exact price and terms, and pay via Stripe. The domain is registered in your name (with free WHOIS privacy) through our registrar partner Dynadot, then transferred to your own free Dynadot account. Your card is only charged if registration succeeds. The price is the registrar's live registration price plus a small domhaul service fee (about 10%, minimum $1.50); renewals are paid directly to Dynadot at Dynadot's own rates. See the purchase terms for details.

Data, pricing & affiliate disclosure
Tool calls send us only the domain names or TLDs being checked — no conversation content or personal data. Availability comes from public RDAP registries; checkout prices come from Dynadot (our registrar partner) plus domhaul's service fee; estimate prices come from Namecheap; resale-value estimates combine market data with our own algorithm. domhaul earns the service fee on purchases through our checkout; the checkout page also offers an alternative Namecheap registration link, which is an affiliate link (domhaul may earn a commission at no extra cost to you). See our privacy policy.
Troubleshooting
- Connector won't connect: confirm the URL is exactly
https://www.domhaul.com/api/mcp/mcp(HTTPS, streamable HTTP transport) and that no authentication is selected. - A domain shows "check failed": some registries rate-limit RDAP lookups; retry in a few seconds.
- Price shows as unknown: we only return verified prices; less common TLDs may not have one yet.
